12th Annual Bits and Bites

12th Annual Bits and Bites ... To Go! Supports Dallas Culinary Culture

You’ve never experienced takeout like this! In response to COVID-19, this year’s Bits and Bites food festival is now a drive-thru, social-distancing friendly culinary event.
And it’s set for Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, from 3-6 p.m.

The 12th annual event features Dallas’ best chefs, working together with our students to demonstrate restaurant operations innovation, execute safe practices to protect our guests and workforce, exemplify the resiliency of this industry and show gratitude for our front-line workers and service industry professionals. Please join us for this afternoon of fun!

A Workforce Development Machine

For more than 50 years, El Centro has trained an expert and passionate workforce serving the North Texas culinary and hospitality industry. Through Bits and Bites and other community efforts, the Culinary, Pastry and Hospitality (CPH) program demonstrates its commitment to the local culinary community and its status as a nationally recognized culinary arts and pastry training program.

Massive Program Expansion – We are now Dallas College!

Thanks to the overwhelming support of you, the local industry and the greater Dallas community, Bits and Bites has been a tremendous success! This year the CPH program expanded into world-class culinary training facilities that previously housed Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.
