Non-Credit ESOL Courses

ESL courses offered through Continuing Education assist students in improving their English skills for the workplace and in social situations.

The courses are presented in three formats: individual courses, intensive fast-track courses and special skills courses.

Individual Courses

  • Are offered with an integrated skills approach.
  • Meet four hours per week for eight weeks.
  • Are offered at nine proficiency levels (essential through advanced skills).

Intensive, Fast-Track Courses

  • Are offered with an integrated skills approach.
  • Meet either three hours per day for two weeks or two hours per day for three weeks.
  • Are offered at nine proficiency levels (essential through advanced skills).

Special Skills Courses

  • Focus on specific topics, such as conversation, accent reduction or test preparation.
