The Dance Jam Festival is hosted by the Dance program at Richland and serves the North Texas area dance community. This educational experience includes dance master classes with faculty; a tour of the campus introducing students to learning in higher education; and the opportunity for your dancers to participate in the performance.
The goal of the festival is to foster a sense of community among students and educators while cultivating an appreciation for dance and its diverse manifestations in culture and performance. Learning institutions participating in the event include area independent school districts, studios, colleges and universities.
The Dance Jam Festival celebrates the talents of beginner through advanced students performing in a variety of styles that may include, but are not limited to, contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, pom, musical theater, folklorico and country and western. Large and small ensembles are welcome.
