Developing Skills for Success

Construction Management and other construction-related courses are taught with both classroom lecture and hands-on labs. All programs require participation in cooperative classes with industry employers.

We offer convenient evening and weekend hours and both credit and noncredit courses. All classes are held at our state-of-the-art Construction Sciences Center at 1401 W. Royal Lane, inside the DFW airport boundaries.

Our 60,000-square-foot building houses classrooms and laboratories that provide both skill-based and management education for the construction industry. The facility has been recognized as an exemplary model throughout the United States for providing construction-oriented college programs since its opening in September 2000.

The objective of the unique educational partnership between North Lake and the local construction industry is to provide 1,300 construction companies in North Texas with trained employees at all levels.
