Telehealth is the use of technology to provide health care and related services at a distance.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for telehealth services has skyrocketed.

The Telehealth program will prepare you for this growing field. You will be trained to do patient care intake as well as troubleshoot IT-related issues.

Get Training That Will Open Doors

Have two industry-recognized credentials: Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification plus a Google IT Support Professional certificate
Get experience as a virtual telehealth extern with a major Dallas hospital system
Develop in-demand skills that will prepare you to solve real-life telehealth challenges, help patients and support other health care professionals
Be a trailblazer! Dallas College is one of the first schools in the country to offer students a certificate combining PCT and Google IT support skills.

What You'll Take:

Courses include Patient Care Technician/Assistant I and II, Google IT Support Professional and a Telehealth Virtual Externship. Students must successfully earn both the PCT and Google IT certifications to participate in the Telehealth Virtual Externship.
