Certified Food Manager

Get certified or re-certified with our Food Protection Management training.

Our Food Protection Management courses satisfy FDA and Texas Department of Health guidelines and provide a certification that’s effective for five years.

The certification program is a 15-hour training for managers of establishments that prepare and serve food to the public. You can also receive this training in Spanish. Areas of study include:

  • Sanitation regulations and standards

Food Protection Management Re-Certification

The re-certification program is a seven-hour state-certified training program, covering the following topics:

  • Categories of food contamination
  • Factors that contribute to foodborne illness
  • Prevention of foodborne illness
  • Introduction to the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point management system (HACCP)
