The Outreach departments at each college and the District Outreach team are committed to actively engaging the community and raising awareness about the importance of education among all populations.
Professional staff members participate in events and activities that improve college access rates by connecting prospective students to the colleges of DCCCD for the higher education and technical training they need to succeed.

Outreach Services, we work closely with area schools and community groups to provide information about DCCCD programs and services to students and parents. We believe it is never too early to start thinking about college, and we value the opportunity to share information about accessing higher education with students of any age.
Street Team is formed by student leaders from across DCCCD who help us reach out and connect with prospective students in the community. They're passionate about the power of education!
Service Learning Program offers college students an opportunity to serve at a wide variety of charitable and social agencies. Students earn college credit for their service. So come with an open mind and heart, and join in the DCCCD commitment to serving the community, and to learning through service.
