New Dallas College students should complete orientation after finishing the enrollment steps.

 
 

Online Orientation

Online orientation should take less than one hour to complete. It provides a high-level overview of the college structure, registration and financial aid, support services and student rights and responsibilities.

Use your Dallas College student email and password to log in. If you don’t have time to finish once you start, you can leave and come back later. You’ll receive a certificate when you complete all sections.

In-Person Orientation

In-person orientation introduces you to the Dallas College student experience. You’ll learn about services, meet fellow students, take a campus tour, discover engagement opportunities and more!

Fall 2024 orientation sessions will be offered throughout the summer months, starting with the first session on May 29. Sign up will go live here by April 30th at the latest and include options during the week days, evenings and some Saturdays. All new students are expected to attend.

Check in opens at 8:30 a.m. and the program will start at 9 a.m.
Translation services will be provided as well as snacks, drinks and lots of Dallas College swag.
