Ashley Hutto has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of St.
Thomas in Houston, Texas. She began her
career as a teacher, serving in the classroom for about six years. Transitioning out of the classroom, she
worked with a variety of not-for-profit organizations as both a program manager
and a fund development director for over 20 years. Her professional area of expertise is operationalization of programs and services allowing for sustainability and
scaling, as well as, fund raising. She is
committed to engaging in the community in service to address the development of
assets specific to the social determinates of health. She lives in the White Rock Lake area and
shares her house with several rescue beagles. She has always loved to garden and has engaged with a variety of
community efforts that nurture this interest, including work with urban
farming.
