ERS Discount Purchase Program

Dallas Zoo

Employees pay $10 for admission to the Dallas Zoo when using the online store. That's a $5 discount for adults and a $2 discount for children and senior citizens. Go to the DCCCD online store at Enter our store name: dcccd and follow the prompts.

You can print your admission tickets from your computer and present them at the entrance turnstiles, bypassing ticket booth lines.


Dell Technologies offers discounts to DCCCD employees through its Member Purchase Program (MPP).

​Microsoft Office 365 for Work

Current employees get a free online account that includes Microsoft Outlook email and Microsoft Office 365. Besides Outlook, Microsoft Office 365 includes online versions of all the popular Office products, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and more) and OneDrive for Business document storage. Employees lose access to Microsoft Office 365 when they are no longer employed by the district.

Microsoft Home Use Program

Current employees can purchase a personal, full copy of the newest version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus for $9.95. Employees keep this copy, even if they no longer work for DCCCD. Learn complete details of the program including eligibility. To order:

After placing your order online you will receive a confirmation email. From the link in that email you can download and install Office directly to your home computer. You can purchase Office for PC or for Mac. Mobile is not available. 

Tuition Discounts

Several higher education institutions offer reduced tuition rates to DCCCD full-time staff and faculty:  

  • Capella University — Eligible DCCCD faculty, staff and graduates receive a 10 percent tuition reduction on all Capella courses, excluding fees.
  • Northcentral University — DCCCD faculty and staff enrolling into an NCU graduate or doctoral degree program receive a tuition discount.  
  • University of Phoenix — The university gives DCCCD employees who are new students at the university a five percent tuition reduction. It also waives the fee for a Prior Learning Assessment. The Prior Learning Assessment is how the University of Phoenix determines if you can save time and money by converting past work experience into class credit. 
  • University of Maryland University College — UMUC offers full-time faculty and staff from DCCCD a 25 percent tuition discount for the Doctor of Management programs, including the Doctor of Management in community college policy and administration.
