Students must complete all requirements for DCCCD  Associate in Arts Degree or  Associate in Sciences Degree.

Courses that are required for UTA degree and may be counted as elective hours or part of the DCCCD core.

You must complete entire DCCCD core of 42 hours to be fully transferable to UTA without question. If you do not complete the DCCCD core, you may be required to fulfill UTA’s core courses.

Grade point average (GPA) is based on courses completed with grade of A, B, C, D, F. Transfer credits are not granted for courses in which grades of D or F are earned.

A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for entrance to the University of Texas at Arlington. 

Note: UTA will accept up to 72 credit hours of college level academic courses (not vocational/technical/developmental) with a grade of "C" or better from DCCCD.
