“We use a lot of techniques on the job that I learned at Brookhaven, including all the practical aspects such as positioning. Our facility recently changed over to the PACS system, which is filmless and can be sent to any doctor’s computer. I already had some experience with PACS technology during my clinical rotation at Medical Center of Plano. One of the best classes I took was Imaging Physics; it made me understand how things really work.
“The best thing about my Brookhaven education was having our class go all the way through the program together, so that we could build relationships and form study groups. Our relationships with each other as students and with our teachers was really great, and I loved how personalized it all was. We all try to keep in touch!”
