Charlotte Winsett earned an associate degree in arts and sciences from Richland College and a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colo. She has taught Medical Insurance at Brookhaven College since the spring of 2008 and also teaches various classes, including ethics and coding, for Collin County Community College District.

She has held credentials as a certified professional coder in the medical industry since 2005 and is a past president for the Richardson chapter for the American Association of Professional Coders. She has extensive experience helping physicians and hospital facilities enhance revenue and reduce the amount of time it takes for them to be reimbursed for their services. She is currently a senior health care negotiator working with physicians and hospital facilities to reach fair reimbursement for their services.
