Still in high school? The colleges of DCCCD offer a number of programs designed to help high school students get on the fast track to a college education. Explore these programs to find one that fits your goals and interests.
Career Pathway - allows you to begin earning college credit in technical fields while in high school.
Dual Credit - gives qualified high school students an opportunity to earn college credit while completing high school requirements.
Early College High School at Brookhaven College - allows students who reside in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District and who are entering ninth grade to achieve two years of college credit while earning a high school diploma.
Early College High School at Cedar Valley College - provides high school students with the opportunity to earn up to two years of college credit and an associate degree while they finish high school.
Dr. Wright L. Lassiter Jr. Early College High School at El Centro College - provides motivated, mature students a unique opportunity to attend a high school located on the El Centro College campus.
Richland Collegiate High School - allows students to complete their last two years of high school at Richland College by taking college courses with a focus on mathematics, science or engineering.
Trinidad “Trini” Garza Early College High School at Mountain View College - provides area high school students the opportunity to earn and accumulate enough dual credit or college credit at Mountain View College to graduate from both high school and community college.
Upward Bound - develops the academic and motivational potential of students in grades 9-11 to prepare them for college success.
