Medical Lab Technician

Perform tests in medical laboratories for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease. Prepare tissue samples for pathologists, take blood samples, and execute such laboratory tests as urinalysis and blood counts. The medical lab technician must understand how to make quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis of all body fluids, and uses a wide variety of technical instruments to make these measurements.
