Now that you’ve gathered all your documents, let’s tour the online Military and Veteran Benefits Request form needed to process your request.

Begin the process by entering your student ID, name, and contact number. Official Dallas College email address is required for all communication.

To select your desired term, use the drop-down menu. Then, select the appropriate academic year, state and district residency, and select which benefits you are applying for.

If you are applying for Active or Reserve Military Tuition Assistance, select your branch of service or the MyCAA scholarship for military spouses from the drop-down menu.

Next, you’ll identify your enrollment status and if you are applying to use any Hazlewood exemptions.

Select none if Hazlewood does not apply to you.

Be sure to complete this online form at the start of each semester.

If your program of study has changed, enter in the name of your new Degree Plan here; otherwise, just leave it blank and select your home campus.

Be sure to carefully read the Student Agreement portion of the form.

This agreement establishes the procedures for certifying enrollments and changes in enrollments of students seeking to use education benefits.

To proceed, go over each statement carefully and select "I acknowledge understanding this item."

Finally, attach all supporting documents you need for this application.

This video will identify documents you need to apply for the Veteran Readiness and Employment Program, or VR&E, sometimes referred to as Chapter 31. The VR&E program helps eligible veterans with service-connected disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, and maintaining employment.

Now, let's identify the documents you need to apply. You'll need your case managers name, your authorization numbers, a copy of your DD214, your military transcripts, your program of study, and your Dallas College registration receipt.

Once you’ve gathered all the necessary documents, you apply online using the Military and Veteran Benefits Request Form.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill

This video will cover the Post 9/11 GI Bill, also known as Chapter 33, by identifying the documents you’ll need to process your request. Chapter 33 provides you with a monthly housing allowance, a stipend for books and supplies, plus tuition that is paid directly to the institution.

Choosing to maximize your Military Tuition Assistance at Dallas College? If so, our Military-Connected Services is here to help you with the steps you need to apply. This video will identify the documents you'll need for the Tuition Assistance program, more commonly known as TA.

You’ll need your military transcripts, your program of study, and your Dallas College registration receipt.

Once you've gathered all the required documents, you’ll submit your request using the online Military and Veteran Benefits Request form.

Please note: Coast Guard, Navy and Marine students must upload their approved Tuition Assistance Voucher to their Benefit Request form.

This video will identify the documents needed to apply for the My Career Advancement Account Scholarship Program, also known as MyCAA. This financial assistance assists eligible military spouses in earning a certificate or associate degree from Dallas College. Your MyCAA counselor will determine your eligibility.

To submit your request, you’ll need your program of study, and your Dallas College registration receipt.

Once collected, you’ll submit your request online by using the Military and Veteran Benefits Request form.
