Spring 2000 Distance Learning Credit Student Performance
By Course Type

Students enrolled in at least one distance learning course are included in this supplemental report. These students may have also been enrolled in one or more on-campus courses. Students were considered successful if a grade of C or higher was earned in one of these distance learning course types: Online, Telecourse, Telecourse Plus, Live TV and TeleCollege.

Current and previous research continues to show that the greater the number of hours successfully completed by a student prior to enrolling in a distance learning course the higher the success rate in the distance learning course.
