This report completes the 2001-02 reporting cycle on indicators related
to the seven District-wide goals. Trends, current observations and a student
success review are presented.

Trends reflect an increasingly more diverse student

delivery method and type of academic credential acquired.
|
Supporting Data:
- Increasing number/percentage of African-American, Hispanic and Asian
students
- Enrollment growth in Developmental Math, English as a Second Language,
work force related continuing education and courses delivered via the Internet
- Increasing number/percentage of certificates awarded
|
Current Observations include improved student course
retention and increased numbers of credit students and contact hours.
|
Supporting Data:
- Withdraw rates decreased over several fall and spring semesters
- Credit and dual credit enrollments increased for multiple semesters
|
Student Success in Review reveals that almost 90%
of fall credit students achieve one or more successful educational outcome
and 96% are employed and/or accomplish at least one successful outcome
by the following fall semester.
|
Supporting Data:
- Successful Educational Outcomes include continued DCCCD enrollment,
completion of a DCCCD 2-yr degree/certificate, transfer to a university/college
and leaving the DCCCD in good academic standing.

Notes:
Trends represent district-level changes in a consistent direction
covering 5 and more years. Individual college trends may differ from District-level
trends.
Current observations represent consistent changes of less than
a 5-year time period.
The student success review data lags that of the indicator reporting
due to the timing of transfer data availability.
