Spring 2002 Credit and Final Fall 2001 Enrollment Report

Enrollment growth continued throughout the District. Spring credit contact hours increased 8.7%, setting a record high for spring semesters. The number of credit students grew 10.15%, which represents more than 5,000 additional students.

Enrollment in flex entry and other less than semester length courses continues throughout the semester and thus, current figures do not yet reflect the total semester. Final spring enrollment data will be provided in the Fall 2002 Credit Enrollment Report. Since continuing education programs have substantial registration activity throughout the semester, these data are reported annually in the Continuing Education Indicator Report.

Update: Final Fall 2001

The completed Fall 2001 credit semester is summarized below. Increases since the Fall 2001 Credit Enrollment Report range from 1.3% to 7.1% for contact hours and 2.2% to 7.9% for number of students.
