
District credit contact hours increased 5.7% and the number of students enrolled increased 4.05% over the previous spring semester. The credit contact hour increase ranged from 0.4% to 14.3% among the colleges. The change in the number of students enrolled varied from an increase of 10.1% to a decrease of 1.1%. Note: This report does not include continuing education enrollments which typically account for approximately 10% to 15% of the total contact hours.
Enrollment increases and decreases by demographic subgroupings varied. The following observations address select areas where all or six of seven colleges experienced an increase. (No areas existed where all or most colleges decreased.)
