Franklin E. Spafford Academic Scholarship
The Franklin E. Spafford Academic Scholarship was established to honor the late Mr. Spafford, who served as one of the first members of the DCCCD Board of Trustees.

must be outstanding scholars as evidenced by a 3.0 GPA or better.

| Application Process | Applicants must submit the following to the financial Aid office at the college they wish to attend.:

| Selection Process | Phase I - Financial Aid Director at each college submits applications of top five candidates to the Foundation Office. Phase
II - Foundation Scholarship Committee determines final winners. |
| Recipient Requirements | If
selected, recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Failure to do so could
result in a reduction or loss of scholarship benefits. |
| Deadline | For
application: Second week of April to Financial Aid Office. Finalist applications to Foundation: Second week of May. Notification to students: Third week of July. |
