Marie
M. Razkow Service Learning Scholarship
The Marie
M. Razkow Service Learning Scholarship was established in 1999 to honor
Marie M. Razkow, sister of Dr. Ivan Martinez, Vice President of Cedar
Valley College. By providing Mr. Martinez a home in the United States,
Marie made his success in education possible. This scholarship will be
awarded to first generation college students, who have participated in
service learning activity in high school or will be participating in service
learning activity in college. Service to school, community, and country
has been one way Mr. Martinez has paid back his opportunity for success.
Establishing this scholarship honors Marie M. Razkow for her selfless
contribution, and extends her influence by helping others attain a college
