Reece
A. Overcash, Jr. Scholarship
The Reece
A. Overcash Endowed Scholarship Fund pays tribute to the remarkable chief
executive of the Citigroup who for twenty years led the company with a passion for excellence and
commitment to achievement. Under Mr. Overcash's guidance, the Associates
recorded two decades of uninterrupted success, growing to become a leading
financial services provider until its merger with Citigroup in 2000.
Because
Mr. Overcash expected excellence and led by example, it is appropriate
that an endowed scholarship in his name benefit the employees and children
of employees of the company he built, and that these recipients attend
the DCCCD, an institution Mr. Overcash believed in and supported through
the years.
