R. Patterson Scholarship
The Daniel
R. Patterson Scholarship was created to award students majoring in math
or science. Daniel Patterson stated, "I am seeking individuals who
have a burning desire to excel in the field of their choosing, while wanting
to put something back into the community; for the aforementioned have
been severely neglected."

Eligibility
Criteria
Applicants
must be committed to community service and agree to volunteer 200
hours per year (75 hrs. fall; 75 hrs. spring; 15 hrs. summer I; 15
hrs. summer II) to work with mentally challenged individuals or military
veterans. Applicant must also be enrolled in a minimum of six credit
hours per semester and maintain a 3.0 GPA.
