Miles Production Company ScholarshipIn the 1980's Mr. Ellison Miles, a Dallas oil man, established a permanent endowment fund with a $300,000 gift to support deserving DCCCD students with financial needs that could affect their ability to succeed in college. Amount of AwardUp to $100 - $300 per semester Number of Awards Per Year Varies per available funds Designated College All DCCCD College Eligibility Criteria Applicants must be students who can demonstrate an urgent financial need that affects their ability to succeed in college. Urgent needs include (but are not limited to) food, payment of household bills, transportation costs, family medical needs, carryover funds until next paycheck, etc. Application Process Applicants must submit a complete scholarship application form and a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Assistance) to the Financial Aid Office at the college they wish to attend.
