Medical Foundation Scholarship Fund
The Metrocrest
Medical Foundation Scholarship was established in 2004 by a donation from
the Metrocrest Medical Foundation (MMF). The Metrocrest Medical Foundation
is a charitable organization established to support the initiatives of
the Metrocrest Hospital and enhance the quality of health care for people
of all means within the communities they serve. MMF Scholarship recipients
must be full time students enrolled in the Brookhaven College Radiology
Technology program. Consideration is given to students who have a
financial need.

Up to $990 tuition for the 2nd semester
Up to $1,155 tuition for the 3rd semester
Up to $1,320 tuition for the 4th semester

Eligibility
Criteria
- Recipient
must be a full time student enrolled in the Brookhaven College
Radiology Technology program.
- Recipients
are also expected to have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better
to continue receiving their scholarship.
- In
order for students to continue receiving this scholarship they
must enroll full-time for four (4) consecutive semesters.
- Recipient
must be approved by BHC Radiology Department (Faculty or Dean).
- Recipient
must complete a DCCCD
Foundation scholarship application form.
- If
a recipient fails to maintain their GPA or is suspended for any
reason by Brookhaven College, the Radiology Department may select
another students to use the remainder of the previous student's
scholarship.
Application
Process
Applicants
must submit a completed DCCCD
Foundation scholarship application form to the Brookhaven College
Radiology Department.
Selection
Process
- Phase
I – Radiology Department at Brookhaven College determines
top two candidates.
- Phase II – Radiology Department at Brookhaven
College submits applications of top two candidates to the Brookhaven
College Financial Aid Department.
- Phase III - Financial Aid will award students based on
their assessment of financial need.
