Jean Brown Memorial Scholarship

The Jean Brown Memorial Endowment was established in 1995 to honor Jean Brown, a former instructor at Mountain View College. She taught at Mountain View for over 25 years and wrote "A Small Moment" which is performed at graduation. In her own words, "Greet each day with a sunrise of your own making. Reach out to others along your path. Pursue your dreams with all the passion you can muster, being careful not to step on the dreams of others."

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be music students who maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and enroll in a minimum of six credit hours per semester.

Application Process
Applicants must submit a completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form to the Financial Aid Office at the college they wish to attend.
