John Hinkle Memorial Scholarship

The John Hinkle Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of John Hinkle, an English instructor at Eastfield College. He taught from 1971 to 1990 and was instrumental in developing the British literature courses. The scholarship is designed to assist returning Eastfield College students with textbook purchases.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be returning students to Eastfield College and maintain 12 credit hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Application Process
Applicants must submit a completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form and a letter stating that he or she is entitled to the scholarship to the Financial Aid Office at the college they wish to attend.
