Prep (Technical Preparation) Scholarship
College Tech Prep
(Technical Preparation) is a program of study that links high school and
community college curriculum to give students the opportunity to earn free
college credit while still in high school. A student can earn college
credit toward an associate degree at the Dallas County Community College
District.

Eligibility
Criteria
- Earn a grade of "B" or better in all Tech Prep high school courses
- Graduate from high school
- Enroll at the DCCCD within 15 months of high school graduation.
- Complete any additional program or college testing requirements (ex. portfolio, practical, or written exam etc.) and declare a major.
Application
Process
- Enroll at the Dallas County Community College and declare a major.
- Take your high school transcript to the Tech Prep advisor and request your Tech Prep
Credit.
- Applicants must submit a completed
