The Richland College Thunder A.R.T.S. Scholarship was established to provide assistance to incoming high school visual arts students and returning Richland College art students.

Eligibility Criteria
Incoming high school visual arts students and returning Richland College visual arts students, 2D & 3D.  Student must be enrolled at Richland, in a studio art class and has a valid student I.D.

                                                           
Application Process
Applicants must submit a one page artist’s statement addressing their interest in pursuing a career in the visual arts and 5 – 10 images in the form of JPGS of their artwork.

Selection Process
The full time visual arts faculty will review the applications and award one time per year.

                                  
Recipient Requirements
Must be a student in good standing (enrolled at Richland and have a student ID).  The funds will be deposited in the students account to be used for tuition.

Deadline
For application: June 1st to Financial Aid Office
Finalist applications to Foundation: June 5th
Notification to students: No later than: August 1st
