college to continue their studies either to prepare for a career or for
personal fulfillment.

Criteria
Applicants
must be single, widowed, or divorced female U.S. citizens, age 30-64,
have a minimum 3.25 GPA, and be returning to college after an extended
period or starting college as a mature adult.
Application
Process
Applicants
must submit a completed
DCCCD
Foundation scholarship application form and a one page handwritten
letter discussing her circumstances and her purpose for attending
Richland College to Carolyn Parker via the Financial Aid Office
at Richland College.
Selection
Process
Recipients
will be selected by Carolyn Parker and/or a committee designated
by Ms. Parker.
