The Korean American Cultural Association established this scholarship to assist students registering in the Brookhaven College Korean Language courses.

Eligibility
Criteria
Student
must have an interest in Korean Language and culture. Student must
maintain a 2.0 GPA or better for credit classes. Students enrolled
in Continuing Education (CEU) classes must show successful completion
of each KORE course.
Application

Applicants
must submit completed
DCCCD
Foundation scholarship application form to Financial Aid Office.
Applicants must also enroll in one, but not limited to (1) CEU or
credit hour of Korean Language or Korean Culture.
Selection
Process
Tuition
will be paid for the first 12 students registering for Continuing
Education Korean courses. Selections are made on a first come, first
serve basis. In order to have free tuition for sequential courses
in KORE, student must have successfully completed their CEU or credit
courses for KORE 1411 in order to be eligible to enroll in 1471,
2370, and 2371. Students must show successful completion of each
course before enrolling in the next level. Applicants will be
interviewed in order to place students at the appropriate level
of instruction. (Brookhaven College will track the eligibility status
of students enrolling in these courses).
