Priscilla Hayter-Hall Memorial Scholarship

Priscilla Hayter-Hall was a professor, counselor, and career planning specialist at Richland College from 1987 until her death in 1999. Her intense desire to help students change their lives and develop skills for success in school inspired her to work with students who were the least prepared for college.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be full time students (12 or more credit hours) maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Application Process
Interested students should complete a statement of intent detailing why he/she is interested in pursuing a college degree,including a brief narrative describing a five-to-ten year vision for their lives and how college will help he/she achieve that vision.

Applicants must submit completed DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form to Financial Aid Office or Scholarship Selection Review Committee at Richland College.

Selection Process
Recipient selected by Scholarship Review Committee: Eddie Hayter, Maggie Upshaw, Barbara Pitts, Mary Darin, and Lee Paez.
