Yale Griffis Foundation Scholarship

In 1985, the Yale Griffis Class of the First United Methodist Church of Dallas contributed to El Centro College to begin a scholarship. This scholarship was established to provide scholarships for students attending El Centro College and who are pursuing a career in nursing and who are in need of financial assistance.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be pursing a career in nursing and in need of financial assistance. Student must be enrolled in six credit hours and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Application Process
Applicants must complete DCCCD Foundation scholarship application form to the Financial Aid Office at El Centro College. The application should be be signed by Nursing Division faculty as well as the student.
 

Selection Process
Recipients are selected by Sondra Flemming, Dean of Health Occupations, and/or El Centro College Financial Aid office.
