James Arthur Adkins Scholarship

The James Arthur Adkins Scholarship was established in 2004 to honor James Adkins, a long-term employee of Cedar Valley College Physics and Astronomy Department.

Amount of Award
One $500 per fall and spring semester

Number of Awards Per Year
One (1) per semester, Tuition Only

Designated College
Cedar Valley College Omega Journeymen Club

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA and take “Fundamentals of Astronomy” the 1st year or have already taken it.

• 300 words or more essays on what a college education means to you.
