Who qualifies for Rising Star?
You qualify for Rising Star if you're a graduating senior who:
- Attends any Dallas County public high school or Dallas CAN! Academy
- Meets eligibility guidelines for financial assistance (see graph below)
- Graduates in the top 40% of your class or has at least a "B" average OR passes the required skills assessment exam before enrolling in college classes.
