Luis J. Iglesias has been engaged in higher education for over 30 years. Educated at Brandeis University and the University of Chicago he has taught social science and research methods at Chicago State University, Elmhurst College, Rollins College, the Pontifical Universidad Madre y Maestra, and Brookhaven College.

Luis joined Brookhaven College in 1997 as Special Assistant to the Vice President of Instruction and Director of the International Center. He transferred to the DCCCD headquarters in 2003 as District Specialist for Resource Development. His work involves grant writing, research, and identification of public and private prospects of funds for the DCCCD colleges.
