Philip "Phil" Ritter, Jr.

Phil Ritter started with Texas Instruments in 1989 and became Senior Vice President in 2001. He has global responsibility for the company's public affairs activities, including government relations, philanthropy and community affairs. He is a Trustee for the Texas Instruments Foundation and serves as Chairman of the Constructive Citizenship Program of Texas Instruments.

Mr. Ritter is involved in a range of civic, educational and professional activities including the Semiconductor Industry Association, the American Electronics Association, and TechNet. He is past president of the Volunteer Center of Dallas County and a former member of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Board of Directors. Mr. Ritter is also on the boards of the World Affairs Council of Dallas and the Texas Taxpayers and Research Association.

Mr. Ritter is the 2005 General Campaign Chair for United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, serving as the volunteer leader charged with raising funds to invest in human care programs in our community. Mr. Ritter holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Maryland, as well as a master's degree in public affairs from the Lyndon Baines Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
