Procurement Strategies CommitteeOverview | Meetings | MembersThe Procurement Strategies Committee has discussed the benefits of a common database/website for procurement information. The DCCCD has volunteered to set up a basic website for the Alliance that will include links to the various agencies and information on DABD activities and goals. The Committee has developed specific action steps to accomplish:
The committee has also discussed a "Dallas Area Procurement Day" to provide training and networking opportunities for agency buyers. This training will allow for cross-training opportunities to ensure procurement specialists are aware of the practices of other organizations. The Procurement Strategies Committee will partner with the Workforce Diversity Committee to find commonalities in health benefit coverage and overcome obstacles to a pooled health coverage system. |
