Weekend College

Working and going to school at the same time. Consider Weekend College.

Especially designed for the working student, weekend courses meet on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays. We have weekend courses in the Core Curriculum and in Career Technical Education that can prepare you for the workforce or for transfer to a four-year degree.

Oceanography, GEOL 1445

Ocean

Learn more about oceans and fish. Take Oceanography and study the physical and biological characteristics of the ocean, as well as the importance of the oceans to human beings and human impact on the oceans. Take a field trip to the Dallas World Aquarium to see fish from all over the world. Visit Lake Lewisville to use tools oceanographers use to study the ocean.
