Pamela Juarez, 2008 LeCroy Scholar Award Winner

Graduate of R.L. Turner High School, Carrollton

Brookhaven College is just the beginning for Pamela as she plans to transfer for a bachelor’s degree before going on to law school. Pamela was 11 when she came to the United States with her parents and wants to become an attorney specializing in issues of social injustice. In addition to maintaining a 4.0 GPA, she has served as a mentor, a tutor, and a community volunteer at the Metrocrest Service Center.


All Student Services offices will be closed on Oct. 16 from 1:30-5:30 p.m. for the Brookhaven College 30th Anniversary Party. All other college offices will be closed from 2-5 p.m.

Alpha Phi Omega

Did you know that there are dozens of different student clubs and organizations at Brookhaven College? There are organizations that provide leadership training and opportunities like the Brookhaven Student Government Association or the Student Leadership Institute. Some organizations offer opportunities to get involved with community service, such as Alpha Phi Omega, while others work on civic engagement projects. Student clubs and organizations give students the chance to come together through shared interests, cultures or experiences.
