Don’t ‘Fall’ Asleep! Note These Important Dates

The Spring semester just ended. That means the Fall semester is right around the corner! Make sure you’re prepared for Fall 2014 by making a note of these important dates. 

June 10: Priority registration (for returning students) starts
June 16: Regular registration (for new students) starts
Aug. 16: Last day to register for students who do not have an “academic standing” of good
Aug. 20: Last day to register for regular semester classes (Only Flex Term classes can be registered for after this date.)
Aug. 21: Last day to add a class
Aug. 22: Last day to drop a class (If you were registered before Aug. 20.)
Aug. 25: Semester begins
Aug. 29: Last day to arrange for a payment plan
Sept. 8: Certification Date (12th Class Day) for traditional, semester-length classes (Certification dates for Flex Term classes will vary.)
Sept. 9: Last day to register for classes if you want to receive Financial Aid for Fall 2013
Nov. 13: Last day to drop with a “W” for traditional, semester-length classes
Dec. 11: Semester ends
Tuition refund dates (for traditional, semester-length classes):
  • 100 percent – Before Aug. 25 (Prior to 1st class day)
  • 70 percent – Aug. 25-Sept. 11 (1st through 15th class days)
  • 25 percent – Sept. 12-17 (16th through 20th class days)
  • None – On or after Sept. 18 (On or after 21st class day)
Throughout semester: Flex Term registration. Students must be registered for a Flex Term class before the class meets for the first time.
