A part-time teaching position in the Liberal Arts Department. Adjunct faculty needed to teach first and second year Spanish starting Spring 2010.  Duties include but are not limited to:

Applicant needs to be available to teach weekday mornings, weeknights and/or weekends.

In addition, some available courses will be taught in area high schools as part of Early College High School programs.

Must be a team player and be able to work cooperatively with the vision of the Spanish program.

Willing to utilize computer technology in the classroom to support learning opportunities for students.

Requirements:

Master’s degree or higher in Spanish or Master’s degree in any other discipline plus 18 graduate hours in Spanish.

Excellent oral/written communication skills to interact with students of varying social-economic backgrounds. Official transcripts will be required. A criminal background check will be conducted.
