Director, Title III

Salary: $46,108 / Min. Annual Salary
A full-time administrator position (Grant position 10/1/08 – 08/31/13) in the Title III Grant Department. Duties include but not limited to:
- Plans, develops and evaluates specific college programs associate with Title III; analyzes data on an on-going basis and design or modify programming according to need.
- Selects, trains and evaluates staff and volunteers.
- Administers Title III grant, including application preparation and submission, budget management, evaluation, record maintenance and periodic reporting to DCCCD and funding agency.
- Establish, maintain and communicate an informed understanding of the direction, goals, objectives and strategies of the project to staff and other Campus personnel.
- Chairs the Title III Advisory Committee.
- Coordinates activities to facilitate maximum effectiveness and utilization of program resources (fiscal and human).
- Coordinates professional services and other contracts with consultants and vendors to ensure compliance with DCCCD policies and procedures.
- Approves all Title III expenditures and ensure compliance with DCCCD and federal polices and regulations.
- Ensures Title III programming reflects the needs of the campus and secures federal approvals for all program modifications.
- Ensures incorporation of the successful components of the Title III activities into the ongoing operations of the campus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education, business, social sciences, or other related field plus three years of professional experience with supervisory experience or Bachelor’s degree in education, business, social sciences or related field plus five years of professional experience with supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated skills in project management.
- Experience in higher education preferred.
- Experience in grants management.
- Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate report and communicate with others.
- Proven oral and written communication skills in order to interact with students and staff from various socio-economic backgrounds.
- Official transcripts will be required.
- A criminal background check will be conducted.
