Tuition is the dollar amount you pay for your courses. The amount of tuition you pay is based on where you live and the number of credit hours you are taking.
If you live in Dallas County, the cost of tuition is $117 per three-hour class. That's $39 per credit hour.
If you live outside Dallas County, tuition rates are as follows:
- $72 per credit hour for out-of-county residents
- $115 per credit hour (with a $200 minimum) for out-of-state/out-of-country residents

- Tuition Waiver for Senior Adults — If you are a senior adult (65 or older) who lives in or owns property in Dallas County, you can enroll in up to six hours of credit courses each semester or summer session at no cost, as long as space is available.
