It’s common to need help occasionally with an academic subject. As a DCCCD student, you are eligible for free, convenient tutoring in a wide range of subjects to help you achieve your academic goals. All you have to do is ask.
Each of the seven DCCCD colleges handles tutoring services differently. But most have certain services in common:
- Drop-in tutoring in labs or learning centers is available in a variety of credit and noncredit subjects, including English, math and science. Drop-in tutoring means you can just drop in, without an appointment, and receive help.
- One-on-one tutoring is available to students who qualify for the TRIO program.
- Online tutoring may be your best choice if you can’t get to tutoring during regular hours. Not all colleges offer online tutoring, so check the college links below to see whether your location offers it.
- Need help beyond tutoring, such as ways to study more efficiently, tips for writing essays and other resources? Your college’s learning center or student resource center will have what you need.
