If public transportation isn’t a viable option for you, carpooling to work or class may be a solution. Check out the free services below and start sharing rides today!

AlterNetRides

DCCCD has partnered with AlterNetRides to provide students and co-workers with an easy way to share one or multiple rides. Find out more about using this free service. (Note: Employees may not share rides with students.)

Other Resources

Here are some additional resources that can help you make carpooling work for you*:

*The links to these Web sites are provided as a service to DCCCD students and employees who want to carpool, but need assistance in finding others who are going to the same location at about the same time.

Don't forget to use common sense. Use the same caution and judgment in selecting potential carpoolers that you use in choosing your friends and acquaintances. Neither AlterNetRides nor DCCCD make any assurance regarding the people who use AlterNetRides. You are ultimately responsible for your safety. This is part of the AlterNetRides Terms and Conditions when you set up an account. Check out our Carpooling Tips for more information.
