Educational Resources Support Services

Educational Resources Support Services (ERSS) provides the centralized materials acquisition, cataloging, and processing services for Dallas County Community College District libraries, media centers and distance learning programs. 

Located at the District Service Center, ERSS is directed by Paul Dumont. Currently, the ERSS staff has 13 employees with highly-specialized skill sets. Please contact them directly if you have a question about something in their area of expertise.

Mission Statement

  • Educational Resources Support Services exists to serve the communities of the Dallas County Community College District through the District's libraries, media centers and distance learning programs.

This section focuses on collection development resources, including vendors, out of print resources, book reviews, and other tools to assist a librarian in finding materials for the library.
This section includes policies, procedures, Web sites, and resources related to cataloging serials and other library print and nonprint materials.
Innovative Interfaces, Inc. is the company that provides our library system software, INNOPAC. This section contains resources to help in using the system efficiently and effectively.
