Educational Resources Support Services   (ERSS)

The Educational Resources Support Services department (ERSS), formerly known as the Technical Services Center (TSC), provides the centralized acquisition, processing and cataloging of library materials for the DCCCD college libraries.

The ERSS pages contain a miscellany of professional aids with which college librarians and staff should be familiar: acquisitions sites, bindery, fixed length codes, location codes, processing procedures, vendor codes, INNOPAC, cataloging and serials information, DCCCD archives information, copyright and licensing, disaster preparedness, statistics, etc.

For more information, contact David Bartley.

Library Technical Support (Employee intranet: Novell login required)

On these intranet pages college librarians and staff will find the campus library quick call guide, answers to frequently asked questions, a listing of library groups and peer councils, memberships of Groupwise mailing lists, library policies and procedures, III How To's and additional technical resources.

The charge, agendas, member listing, minutes, procedures and schedule may be available for each library group and peer council:

  • Acquisitions
  • Circulation
  • Collection Development
  • ICL/ILL
  • Library Directors
  • Library Instruction
  • Media Directors
  • Periodicals

  • Web Team

Library Technical Support is provided through the Educational Technology Integration and Internet Communications workgroup of the Information Technology department at the District Service Center. For more information, contact Dawn Hellmund.
