What is the Professional Development Program?
The Professional Development Program consists of short-term stand-alone training and development programs. These programs are offered on various subjects for either a Certificate of Mastery or Certificate of Attendance, and is open to faculty, staff and administrators who may or may not be involved in the Career Institute.
Who should attend?
These sessions are open to all employees, professional support staff, faculty and administrators. Supervisor’s approval is required prior to registering for the classes.
What are the benefits to me?
We offer educational courses covering a variety of topics either in single sessions or as short-term series, enabling you to get training in diverse topics in a short amount of time. A Certificate of Mastery is awarded to those staff members who meet the completion requirements for courses offered as short-term series. The certificate, signed by the Vice Chancellor, is an internal DCCCD recognition of completion. The one-session courses offer a Certificate of Attendance.
